Not the cheapest (approx. £135 per person) but definitely worth it. The super jeep was brilliant, and the driver (Captain A) was great fun and very informative. For those who had cameras he helped set up, and he took pictures with his camera, which he shared as we were driving back. He also drove us to a secluded area after the northern lights tour to see the whole of the city from a peak, albeit definitely an added extra. Lastly, with the super jeep we were able to go off road, and also watch the northern lights away from all the crowds. There were only ~25 people where we were (2 super jeeps). "Captain A" - you were amazing! Warning - make sure you wrap up warm! If you think you have enough layers, you're wrong!
Our guide, Simon was very good at explaining how the Northern Lights appear, it's incredible how many things have to be right for us to see them. The hot chocolate and biscuits was very welcome and a nice touch. Riding in the convoy of four super jeeps was exciting!! Fantastic tour.
