Dotted with golden and sometimes pink beaches, a trip to Snæfellsnes peninsula will leave you speechless amidst the grandeur of a stunning natural landscape. The magical gorges and waterfalls, charming little villages, beautiful beaches - Snæfellsnes is a sight for sore eyes. It’s an integral part of any Iceland tour, and is great for some incredible photo ops too. Very nicely done. The tour was quite interesting and Howser, our guide, did a great job. His commentary was intelligent, witty, and informative; and kept the guests engaged throughout the tour.
The views were gorgeous, but I would have appreciated more info by the tour guide. I enjoyed the independent wandering at the stops, but during all the down time in the bus some facts or stories would have made the experience better.
