The grandiose of Iceland can scarcely be captured in a day but this comprehensive tour does its best to leave a lasting impression for years to come. Travel in comfort around the land of ice and fire as you explore the magical landscape of Iceland starting from Reykjavik and heading toward one of the biggest lava caves in Iceland, Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, where a local guide will tell you all about lava, volcanoes, how a lava cave is formed and the reasons for its spectacular colors and formations.
Next on the itinerary is a visit to the Reykjanes Peninsula, home of the Reykjanes Geopark, UNESCO site and one of Iceland’s geological gems! A packed day of sightseeing also brings you to the beautiful lakes Kleifarvatn and Graenavatn, the multi-colored hills of Krysuvik and the geothermal areas of Seltún and Gunnuhver with their hot springs and mud pools and much more.
After all the sightseeing, it is time to make a stop at the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most famous attractions. Here you will have time to walk around and take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue pool. Once you wave the sun goodbye for the say, it’s time to try your luck hunting the Northern Lights, weather permitting and hope to experience the beauty and resplendence of the aurora borealis in Icelandic night sky.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon never easy to predict. The Northern Lights depend on several factors, such as cloud coverage, solar activity and general weather conditions. Every day we check the conditions and in the afternoon decide whether to operate the tour or not. If the conditions are not good, the tour will be canceled.
