Drop off at your hotel
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Reykjavik at the scheduled time.
Your first destination will be one of the most stunning piece of man-made structures, Iceland’s new attraction – the ice caves of Langjökull. Enjoy walking through these majestic blue corridors carved out in Europe’s second largest glacier. You will also be boarding a specially made glacier vehicle at Husafell that will take you on a ride of a lifetime! Explore the surreal blue environment of the ice cap glacier, spend some time looking around and click pictures as this place promises to give you the best Icelandic memories! Follow your expert guide who will show you the impact of global warming on these natural wonders and also learn about Iceland’s seismic history.
You’ll also be visiting Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring! The highest flowing hot springs, this thermal wonder can provide up to 180 litres of hot water per second! From some hot spring action, the tour will be taking you to the mighty cold blue waterfall of Hraunfossar. This waterfall is made of a series of rivulets that stream down a distance of 900 metres out of the Hallmundarhraun lava field.
From here you’ll be heading back towards Reykjavik. On the way you’ll stop to explore the Hvalfjörður. Just about 50 kilometers away from Reykjavik, this 30 km long and 5 km wide fjord is one of the most beautiful pieces of landscape in Iceland. Although, this is said to be the place where the British and Americans established a settlement during World War II, it is also the controversial place housing the whale factory, throwing an eerie light on Iceland’s whale hunting past.
After the tour, you will be dropped back to your accommodation in Reykjavik.
Pick-up and drop-off facility are also available from the towns of Hveragerði and Selfoss that falls en route the Icelandic Ring Road.
